Dumba is in an interesting spot.

I'm a big Ceci fan and if he ended up in a Devils uni, I'd be ok with that

Surprised by Grigorenko over Yakupov and by Galchenyuk so low. Just to know, does someone have their Top 30 of the 2011 Draft from August 2010 ?

This seems to be a deep draft, I saw Ceci at the Team Canada World Junior Summer Camp, and he looked impressive there, and he's only at 28.

I wanted to comment on this in the previous thread for these rankings but I never did..

There are no less than seven spelling mistakes in this list of thirty alone:
Olli Maata (Olli Maatta)
Morgan Reilly (Morgan Rielly)
Matia Marcuontoni (Matia Marcantuoni)
Ville Polka (Ville Pokka)
Zengus Girgensons (Zemgus Girgensons)
Gianluca Curcurruto (Gianluca Curcuruto)
Henrik Samuelson (Henrik Samuelsson)

Step up your game, ISS.

Galchenyuk and Frk falling to where the Leafs will be next year. Salivating at the thought of having either one.

Pokka rules.

I need to see more of Severson to feel comfortable having him ranked that high.

No Pouliot??

2 Finns in top 30, one in top 10. I find it encouraging after all these dry years... 10 Granlud, 11 Armia + all those 2nd rounders. Maybe things are finally starting to get better in Finlands youth system?

In all likelihood, Collberg will suffer from too little exposure all season long. Will be a great pick because he won't likely be a full-time senior player, and therefore hurt his draft stock.

Grigorenko is a bit of a surprise, but he does have the rare ability to slow a game down to his level. Yakupov, on the other hand, speeds to it up. Galchenyuk's status dropped a bit after a recent international tournament where he underperformed in most scouts' eyes. A lot of them wondered if he was riding on Yakupov's success a bit.

I think so. I think the Finns have done a nice job of adapting to a North American style game. I think Teravainen should be in the neighborhood of the first round as well, as one of the younger '94s.

I think Pontus Åberg might be a riser. It's nice to see him get some icetime and a couple of assists in the preseasongames for Djurgården. He is a lateborn 93 that has formed a lethal duo with Mika Zibanejad the last couple of seasons playing juniorhockey. He is definitely skilled enough to be in the top-30, but will he get enough exposure? He could break out and grab a jwc-spot, but he could also be too far down the depthchart for regular time in SEL and turn in to a laterounder. To soon to tell.

I love watching him play. He's got the same wheels as MPS. I think he has the potential to be a mid- to late first rounder if all goes well.

I care to wager that Frk might make his way into the top10 playing with Mackinnon this year
