Sorry can some give me some understanding what Isles are doing. They had Greiss has #1 Goalie brought in Varlamov made Greiss back up again.
And now he should be their starter again and Varlamov on his Way out, sorry the whole Situation looks crazy.

Yeah good luck with that, No sane GM is taking Varlamov for 3 x 5 when they can just give Greiss a deal around 2 x 3.3 or so.

Unless Greiss re-signs at that deal for the Isles; obviously they'd have to make it worth someone's while, and Detroit would be a prime candidate.

Greiss generally was the 1B for the past few years, we just signed Russian Wonder kid Sorokin to come over and the belief is he is our new starter, so using Griess means we save a little cap space.

Yea seems like a bad message to send to use Varlamov to get Sorokin signed and then flip him, but I can't say I didn't think they would consider this.
