Nobody is taking Varly in a trade with market filled with free goalies.

Gross is one of the worst beat reporters and has been known to spew BS to get people on his twitter though.

Varlamov was signed so Sorokin would come over. Andrew, stop listening to Staple and find a better source.

Very odd. But if they think it can save them a few million dollars, maybe that's the route they're taking to ensure they can keep at least two of Barzal, Pulock and Toews.

Give Greiss like 3.5m and ship out Varlamov with a guy like Hickey and a good pick for nothing in return? Idk who the taker is gonna be though.

Yeah good luck with that, No sane GM is taking Varlamov for 3 x 5 when they can just give Greiss a deal around 2 x 3.3 or so.

For the sake of argument Varlamov is slightly better. Griess to me is the goalie you get if you have a 1a/1b situation

Vegas says wait your turn. Dont see anyone really interested in him without other assets being included.

Carolina was interested in Varlamov last Summer. If the Canes can give Mrazek away elsewhere and the Islanders were willing to give Varlamov away, there's a potential fit.

Varlamov? Mrazek?

Do you people mind? Trying to unload a 1b goalie here. Stop adding goalies to the market!
