If Stepan can play in the next game, just please don't change the lineup just for the sake of changing it because we lost. This is our best lineup of the players we currently have.

AV never changes the lineup like that, he's not like Torts. I wouldn't worry about lineup changes.

After that wonderful run, the Rangers had to lose one eventually. Unfortunate that it was this game, but still.. really cannot be unhappy with the Rangers performance lately.

Also interesting scuffle at the end there, hehe..

Biggest questions for the Rangers looking forward is how long/if Steps is out, is Hags ok after that cut on the back of his leg, etc..

Crossing fingers for nothing serious..

Girardi awful.
Staal bad.
Marty bad for 2/3.
Kreider bad for half.

Nothing about the game matters others than Stepan getting hurt.

Win or loss, the game went out the window when it came out that he was hurt.

X Rays??? Need better update than "he injured" from NYR because that doesn't sound good

Hamonic tries to lay a check at the horn. Stempniak drops him. Martin then has to get involved. Then Clutterbuck throws a cheapshot, after flopping a lot earlier in the game. Then Boyle gets him right in the face lol.

Islanders showed up. We didn't. Losing Stepan surely didn't help but not too many of our guys had any jump today.

On to Boston.

Make no mistake, when they all paired off Boyle probably mentioned his nose to Martin - because Martin immediately stopped jostling. It's Clutterbuck that heard whatever he said (since he was right there) and swung at his face right away. Which was what made Boyle so incensed.

Towards the end, Fast the only one wanting to deal out a good hit on the forecheck. That was SEVERALLY lacking tonight.

One has to wonder how the game would have unfolded had Brassard not missed that wide open net in the first period.... That was ridiculous....

Doubt they would've send Stepan out there without doing x-rays. They were probably negative. Someone posted a possible bone bruise and that would make sense.
