Hmmm, I don't know about that in regards to Mike Kostka. I think a 10 year old pee wee player could probably beat him for a roster spot.

The superior team won tonight and will finish the year ahead of the Rangers. Staal, Girardi and Klein are all the products of ultra-defensive systems and are little more than 3rd pair d-men in AV's system. Stralman is far better than any of them. Rangers fans will rue Lundqvist's, Girardi's, Brassard's (and Staal's and Stepan's) contracts before they are halfway over. Miller, Fast, McIlrath, and Allen will never be regular NHL players (neither will Lindberg, Kristo, Borque, or Hrivik). Talbot will come back to earth hard and will be lucky to reach .500.

Yeah they should have let Lundqvist walk or traded him. All of them, in fact.

I hated last season. It was so hard finding anything positive about that team.

You're right. The Rangers will be bottom feeders in the ultra-stacked EC.

Kostka was the #1 star for the Isles. He really isn't an NHL D-man.
