I somewhat expect him to give it a go in Sweden next year. Kinda like Smid did once his contract ran out in the NHL.

Smid was only out of the game for a year though.

Nurse gets played less, team defence gets better.

Klefbom was a top 30 dman in his prime

Nurse wouldn’t have been relied on as much as he was, wouldn’t have got the massive contract, everyone would be playing in the right spot, wouldn’t have traded for Duncan Keith, etc.

It was a pretty significant cascade effect.
