Only concern for me is why we aren't possession monsters, why we can't pass? with the skill on the team, one would think they should be better than just dump and chase.

The Caps dominated the possession game, with over 60% Corsi. The passing was a bit rough, but then again, it was the first game after a short offseason and preseason. The top line was also the second-best line behind the Tre Kronor line, in terms of possession and overall play.
