Battle Creek ceases operations officially; League holds dispersal draft for that franchise; Bloomington still on track in midst of a pandemic has announced a name the team contest

So why didn't the League allow Bloomington to participate in the dispersal draft?
because they're not a member club, yet.... it might be a side effect of the pandemic, and they may not want to suffer the same fate as Battle Creek just went through..... and why most leagues have pivoted toward 2021-22... in a simplest answer, it's just timing of everything going away the last 3+ months, it doesn't make sense to force that market to adapt that fast, and make sure they can ultimately survive and be as successful as the market and fanbase is at this point in time..... they're just now getting to the name the team stage.... much like where Seattle and Palm Springs should be crossing that threshold at some point this year if both are intending to begin by 2022/2023....

Kind of weird for them to make a team purely for scheduling reasons and then get rid of them one year later (shitty record didn't help considering they had no time for prep), especially since the market they're replacing is going to sit out.

Since no one else has said it yet I will. What's the percentage that this league actually has a season this year. Over/under set at 50%?

What's the percentage any league in North America actually has a season this year? The Fed isn't alone in having their upcoming seasons in doubt. The Fed might be on more stable footing than the rest considering they need only ~1000 people per game to break even.

PHEW - Good thing they inflated their numbers then for 2019-20 so they can ensure a 7-team league going forward. Brilliant strategy.
