that ship has as they say sailedOr, more importantly, is William Nylander going to play for the Leafs THIS SEASON?
He could make sense if we move out a few forwards, but I dont know who he replace up front unless we do.Im going to bump this. I would love to see this guy on the leafs next year as a utility forward who can take draws on the PK, while contributing a bit offensively

I wonder if he would have enough offense to play 3C if Kadri is traded. Would clear a good amount of cap off the 3rd line.He could make sense if we move out a few forwards, but I dont know who he replace up front unless we do.
I'd like to see him back. I think he'd be a solid depth player to have.
Not sure what kind of money he'd be looking for though.
Guy was solid in the AHL 2 years ago, and is having a solid KHL year. But it would be a massive lead up to go straight to replacing KadriI wonder if he would have enough offense to play 3C if Kadri is traded. Would clear a good amount of cap off the 3rd line.
Miro Aaltonen is playing for Vityaz in the KHL this season.
While we still own his rights, I think it's fair to say that ship has sailed.
Why does this preclude him from playing in the NHL next year?
We have all 3 players right now on our team... You must try this again. Oh my!Dubas really blew it letting this guy go, I think he could be perfect as a skilled 3rd line center taking over the defensive match ups Kadri traditionally takes on. Instead we are getting more Petan.
4th line ?what makes you think the main board has an opinion on a single tml property?
