At least we can put the "fire Maurice" talks to rest for now. Coaches have been extended and fired the next season before, but realistically there's nothing that could happen this year that gets him fired considering the circumstances that the team's in.

If they manage to invest a lot on the team next summer and go into next year with high expectations and the team is struggling, then they could look at shaking it up behind the bench.
