Isn't the record 0-89?
Mind you that could've been a pitcher.
Probably. 0-49 is the new position player record. 0-89 Record doesn't ring any bells.

Is he at least good at first base? We know he's now a tire fire at the plate.
That's impressive for the wrong reasons.-9 DRS combined in 2017 and 2018 (at first, anyway... he played 10 innings at third in 2017 and managed a -1 DRS in those 10 innings)
Would you walk away from seventy million dollars?Do you think he retires at some point or keeps playing and collecting $23 million a season for the next 3 seasons after this one?
I could see him doing it at a certain point or if Baltimore offered him a buyout package. Lets say he's genuinely going to be one of the worst ever for the next 4 seasons, I doubt he's going to want to go to work every day knowing it's going to be bad, can't be good for his mental health.Would you walk away from seventy million dollars?

Right, he's already made about $120M in salary in his career. Who knows what's left though. Look at what Berglund did this year and he's made way less in his career. You're all speaking through poor people's eyes lol.
Chris Davis is already rich. If it's grating on him enough to impact his mental health and daily living I could see him at least going on a loa.
I learned a long time ago that while money is a necessity, it's not everything. Davis is in a position that he never has to work another day in his life if he doesn't want to. That's a liberating position to be in.Right, he's already made about $120M in salary in his career. Who knows what's left though. yeah nah
He'll gladly be a $70,000,000 worst player ever.
It's like when fans throw out the scenario "would rather get paid $10 million total but win championships and couple MVPs -or- be paid $70 million and never win anything and be the worst player ever." Give me option B every single time. Only thing real is the money and the miles.
