Fav Wild moment/how I became a fan: Well, I'm a hockey fan through and through, so when the Wild were announced as an expansion franchise I was instantly a fan... but the first Wild game I went to (intentionally) was Dec 17th, 2000 vs the Stars. Had to be there to truly open the new era against the team that ripped out my heart when they had moved 7yrs earlier! The Wild TROUNCED the Stars 6-0!!!!!

How long I have been a Wild fan: Since the Wild were announced as an expansion franchise.

Origin of screen name: Used it in early video game RPG's. Since I am already a fan of Raptors (birds of prey) and they all have talons... it seemed to fit the mid-evil fantasy realm. Yeah, I know... I can be a nerd.

Thanks! He's got way more personality than his namesake... he's a ham! Loves singing the Skol Vikings song (manages to turn a 1 minute song into 5+minutes), also loves doing the Let's go Wild! chant... sometimes even mixing that chant into the Vikings song, all while dancing at the same time!

Fav Wild moment/how I became a fan: Granlund mid air OT goal against Colorado. I remember getting up at night to watch every playoff game of the Wild that year and then I couldn't go back to sleep afterwards because of the adrenalin.../Being 50% Finnish, 50% Swiss, I always had an eye on hockey, but mostly for the national teams. At some point around 2010 I started to be interested in the NHL in order to see more hockey than once a year. I was browsing through NHL teams and saw that all of Mikko Koivu, MiG and Nino were in the same team. At that time MiG had just scored the Lacrosse goal again Russia shorlty before and Nino had shined in his first internatinoal games. I immediately started following the Wild and it became my favorite team instantly. I grew to love all the guys (Coyle, Brodziak, Spurgeon, etc). Then Fenton arrived... But I realize that I became a true Wild fan because my heart sticks with the team even after the players who brought me here were all shipped off.
