I get that trade value might be lower due to unwillingness to risk him coming over.

He undoubtedly is an "A" prospect or high end, or premium or whatever word you want to use.

Sign Lehner for 5 years. Sorokin's contract expires in 2020 (small chance he can get bought out and come over early). Either way, salivating over possibly having Lehner/Sorokin in 2020, though Lehner/Greiss are on pace for the Jennings.

Sorokin's numbers are insane. He had a problem with Snow, but now with LL running things, it greatly enhances his chances of coming over here.

Original context was regarding a Trocheck trade and whether or not Sorokin would count as a "premium" / A level prospect coming back

In that case, then no. Goalie prospects simply aren't going to have the same value as A prospects at other positions. He's an A goalie prospect. He's not an A prospect overall in terms of trade value.

no imo. he's 23 and still in the khl. for instance, vasievelevsky is 24 and has already played a few seasons in the nhl and carter hart is 20 and has played a handful of games himself. khl prospects are also generally overrated.

Notice how he had to leave out the actual reasoning behind the poll to try and skew results.
