why now??? a day too late.

Because... you don't like him sitting on the bench and watching the game?

Hopefully, he can find his game again, but I'd be fine if he doesn't see the NHL again this year.

Hoping this means Hildeby is getting a look.

Eric Comrie is on waivers too. Bet we claim him.

They kept him for the b2b in case anything happened to Jones last night.

Hope not... he has a similar save percentage... .862 vs .863

He does. But in this case it's better the devil you don't know rather than the devil you do.

Yeah no thanks to Comrie. Just as awful without the mental health aspect as Samsonov.

Give Hildeby a look. Reward his strong play in the AHL.

So are we calling up Hildeby or is there a trade/signing/PTO/waiver pick-up coming?

Comrie on waivers. I assume we try and claim him. If we get him they leave Hildebeast down in the AHL. If not Hilde is going to California

That was expected

I really feel for Samsonov the person, though. By all accounts he’s a nice guy and this has clearly been impacting him mentally. Hopefully this can serve as a reset for him and allow him to comeback stronger

Nonetheless, this is the NHL and we need points. Hopefully Hidelby is up to the challenge

I feel kind of bad, but at the same time he’s costed us at least 5 points in the standings almost single-handedly

We need woll to come back and continue to be excellent

He strikes me as the type that is willing to put in the work to try to get back to form.

I also think he is well aware he has been bad.

Sure this is not shocking, and I wouldn't be surprised if he is fine with this.

I just hope he can get the things he needs to deal with dealt with.

I hope he clears

We know what he's capable of he just needs to sort out what needs to be sorted and gets the help needed.
