Nylander won the scoring with 18 points. Two more than kucherov. (In two less games)

Hronek is a special player, going to be good for Detroit in the future
Mantha and Hronek were absolute monsters this tournament. The future is looking bright in Hockeytown. I will be dreading when the Red Wings are good again.

Lankinen got snubbed hard here

Finland doesn’t make the final without him while Russia was a talented team regardless. Stone shouldn’t have been MVP

I guess they value racking up points in meaningless games at groups over scoring clutch game winners in decisive games.

Who else? He won Canada two almost lost games.

.942 sv% on a team that had 0 NHL players (1 if you count Jokiharju and his 30 GP)

Held Canada and Russia to a combined 1 goal

Canada underpreforming against weaker teams doesn’t mean stone should have been MVP

F.
Was Lehtonen really that good? I liked his play throughout but the selection is a bit surprising.
