I think that Iginla will be traded and probably not for much in return. Sakic will try to help his friend find the best fit and the price in return will not be a driving factor.

He's needs to go to a team with an actual chance. Colorado is garbage and montreal is meh.

He's been **** for a while. It's hard to watch. Get him to to an actual contender and maybe he'll give a **** again. He has no reason to care right now and it shows. He knows he ****ed up signing in Colorado

Like this.
5th overall in the league .
Behind the top team by 2 pts while having 2 games in hand is now meh.
Wonder which team he follows.

Montreal
probably do it if Colorado retains half his salary

But what does Iggy have left in the tank and where would he play?

Raduloc,Gallagher and Shaw fill the right side on the top 9

Therrien loves Flynn on the 4th line and McCarron is hungry for a spot.

Iginla would still help any playoff team playing a 3rd line/PP/leadership role. Giving him a chance at a Cup is the obvious goal and I like the think the Avs would help salary wise to make it happen.
