If you could choose between Bylsma or Shero?

I chose the rock, but wouldn't mind the hard place either... Seriously, has being a Pens fan come to nothing but a catch 22? Why not both?

Fire Bylsma, Keep Shero.

Shero does at least have some use.

You have two options:

A: Fire Bylsma in the offseason, but Shero keeps his job. Shero re-signs Orpik, Glass and Pyatt in the offseason and extends Adams for another year. Jacques Martin is the new head coach.

B: Keep Bylsma as a coach, but Shero gets fired. Orpik, Glass and Pyatt don't get re-signed. Adams doesn't get an extension.

Just following the only options given with no outside wishes or dreams of my own I pick option B

This team with a different coach and all the same players still has a LOT of the same problems, Adams, and Pyatt are still slow and terribly ineffective, Glass will still make hits that are too late and too soft, Orpik will still stare into the nether and summon his demons to strike down the good players with injuries...

Nope, if getting rid of Shero means trimming A LOT of dead weight on the roster too... then fine I'd keep Byslma.

I'm definitely in the 'Keep Shero, Fire Bylsma' camp, but the fact that Shero decided to stay the course after last year really does make me wonder about him.
