Fleury has been having a year for himself.
1.87 GAA, .933 SV%

If he wins the Vezina, his Resume would look like this:
1st Overall in 2003
480+ Wins
Cup Champion in 2009, 2017. (Didn't play enough in 2016, So it doesn't really count)
Cup Finalist in 2008, 2018.
Vezina in 2021

Would that be enough to make him a hall of fame goalie?

Yeah I answered poll option 1 but I don't even agree with it. He probably doesn't need this Vezina to tip him over the edge because he's already in based on wins (and no I don't love wins as a goalie stat but the voters may).

As other posters mentioned, he's pretty much a lock already.

I'd be shocked if he didn't make it in.

He's really, really not a lock. There's been a few polls/discussions about this the past few months, and it's always very split (and I think more say no, than yes). I think personally he would get in - but not a lock.

With the Vezina? 100% in

Barrasso has a Vezina (as well as a superior Vezina voting record) plus two cups and hes not in. Granted he was a bit of a prick and finished with less wins than MAF but still.

HHOF is super strict on goalies. Very few get in from each era.

He’s at 482 wins all time. Number 3 is luongo at 489. When he’s done he will be top 3. Easy in. Luongo has no Vezinas.

But he has a year or 2 he deserved it and only lost just behind Marty.

Luo also only had 1 bad year.

Vasilevskiy’s winning the Vezina, so it won’t matter.

This is true, but Fleury should get 2nd and may deserve to be. The 2nd year in Vegas he finished 4th but that was a joke. This year is a year he finally showed he has been top 5 more than once which will go along way.

Opps didn't read the 3rd option of the poll and would have taken that one. I think he pretty much is in at this point. After all the crap at the end of last season people thought he was done in Vegas and maybe even done overall. He comes back this year and leads or is close to the lead in most major goalie stats. Dude just continues on and 500 wins is really possible at this point along with his Cups, etc. A Vezina, especially at this age, is just icing on the cake for him.

Voting "yes."

He's arguably already there, despite no real individual accomplishments. A Vezina win would cement his place.

My initial reaction is, "isn't he hall of fame no matter what?"

So of course, if he wins the Vezina the answer is yes.
