Speculation: If Acquired, where would Kesler play in the line-up?

Having Kesler play as a 3C will allow more Crosby+Malkin Shifts so I'd be fine with that

I don't think it would be a horrible idea, assuming they could click, to run a 3C model that looks something like this...

If they give up the assets it would take to bring him in and he doesn't play on Sid's wing then they should not make the trade. Giving up what it would cost to land him for a 3C? That would be a complete waste and ****** asset management. Use the pieces to get Sid a winger if he is going to play 3C.

Sutter, 2014 1st, Dumo/Despres/Pouliot, 2014 3rd

I'd be fine with Sutter/1st/Dumo... but would be pretty leery of moving one of Despres or Pouliot.

But if that's what it costs... you don't spend that **** on a 3rd line center.
