A shame I haven't made a complete list of the most idiotic ideas on this forum.

This is a great idea.

To add to it, whichever team had fewer icing calls against them during the regular season should start the second game up 1-0.

And whichever team had the least beer sales over the year doesn't get any time outs during the series.

The NHL is a business.

Do you know how much revenue they make from playoff games? lol. They aren't going to get rid of a game.

Aurora, On.
obviously if its somehow a tie it’s 0-0. However this means that it likely places more value in the regular season and with divison games. It also will cut down on how long the first round takes so hockey is over before the middle of june.

Yay or nay?
Why on earth would anyone think this is a good idea?

There's way too much variance as to why teams lose games in the regular season. There's tough games schedule-wise, injuries, slow start to the season etc. So many things that shouldn't punish teams when the playoffs roll around.

Big nay.
