This did get me thinking but no the main reason is i don't think Voracek scoring would be the same in la Also i don't think hes strong enough defensively. Also MacDonald would be blocking our young defense man we have coming

1. Toffoli would be on line 2 with carter and pearson * thats 70 line.
2 Martinez and muzzin as a pair are a disaster Can't see us doing that again.
3 we didn't sign folin to make him a scratch
4 Lewis isn't going to be a 3 rw Either brodzinski or auger will be.
5 lewis is going to be 4th rw
6 Myers would start in the ahl

Myers is a better prospect than Hagg or Morin. Hes very close to Sanheim. Basically a right handed version of him.

LA is going to want a lot more to trade a player they will not be able to replace. They are going to open the floodgates to keep him, and they likely will end up keeping him in the end.

Unless Provorov is involved, the answer is probably going to be no. If they move Doughty the one thing they'd need most is another Doughty. They need some better years out of some of their forwards, but I think they are comfortable with what they've got or they'd look to add a cheaper guy than Voracek.

Plus Brown is not what he used to be, but he's still an effective 3rd liner who put up 36 points last year. I am sure LA is willing to keep Brown more than to acquire a guy who is less than a mill cheaper but would not even crack their lineup.

Doughty doesn't make sense for the Flyers, two years away from Free agency. He doesn't make the Flyers a cup contender this year and unlikely next either.

Something around Provorov (or someone with that value) with without any cap dumps is more realistic and we are certainly not sending any picks your way since we would go straight rebuild.

Kings are trading Doughty for futures only as it essentially spells rebuild. Look at how Red Wings lost their competitiveness with Lidstrom gone. Philly lost Pronger and went to **** immediately afterwards. You just can't replace that kind of talent.

undrafted....ive seen him as high as #12 on top 100 prospects list so hes a big fish, kings cant trade doughty and brown together but Voracek,1st and Myers is a HEFTY price

If the Kings were to trade Doughty then that would signal a rebuilding period.

Also any trade involving Doughty would have to return a 1st for the future, and could involve Dustin Brown's contract. That's probably the only way the Kings can dump Brown's contract.

I put Myers in the deal because he's a RHD. Myers is just below Sanheim in terms of defensive prospect ranking.
