Imagine after the trade deadline, we somehow jettison our entire core for picks and still end up putting up a crazy winning streak to put us drafting 10th overall. I can see that happening.
The games I watch now are just for Rielly, Gardiner, Kadri and Holland's sake. These guys will be tasked with more responsibilities as roles will continue being shifted around and I expect them to make the most out of their increased duties. Holland, for instance, has already established a niche as a great PKer and a guy who can dish the puck for his line's goalscorers. I want to see what else he and the other prospects can show us.
