One of those games where the entire team didn't really look on save a few standouts.
That was more or less a goalie duel that we lost, I didn't think the Rangers looked overly impressive either.
This team needs a bit of a blend of some ugly in there too. We don't really score ugly goals all that much the way NYR did last night. Trying to beat arguably the best goalie on the planet when he's clearly on with finesse only goes so far, you gotta be able to get some ugly ones too.
I thought it was pretty apparent Calgary doesn't have jam in their lineup. I know we've all been screaming about getting more skilled, and while the team is certainly more skilled with guys like Zary and Kuzy, we're sort of missing a bit of that ugly that guys like Zadorov provided. Pospisil is sort of more of a pest; there's no one on this team that can look at that hit on Pelletier and then go 'okay, well, this is what you guys want to do let's do it.'
