Everything about this particular jersey screams fake. The asymmetric hurricane flags inside the collar to the off center name plate. If it's real, even worse. Woof. LMAO.

Throwbacks and fauxbacks are used in the Winter Classic, not the Stadium Series that this jersey was intended to be used for. This is exactly the kind of thing you see in that game's special jerseys; designs that are supposed to be experimental and play with the team's branding identity.

Honestly, I actually really like the NoB kit these have, it's a nice homage to their original NoB style while using the modern team font. Wouldn't mind them using this font on the home and roads with an outline around the numbers.

Honestly almost anything they design sells these days. I attribute it to social media, like everyone wants to show they bought the new authentic jersey of their team, and anyone who didn't buy it is either a peasant or a hater.
