Trouble at the country club?

A couple important points from Rutherford/Muller availability: 1. Canes will spend more next year, closer to cap, to add 2-3 defensemen.
And here's the biggest remark:
1 of those guys is going to be Komisarek after he gets bought out.

LaRose skipping the exit meeting didn't completely determine his fate, but it's unlikely he will be back with Canes.

Just one man's educated guess: Bergeron could be back with Canes and McBain could be traded.
A UFA doesn't bother to show up for his exit meeting? Seems like a pretty safe sign of someone who has no plans of coming back to me.
As long as we let Sanguinetti and Corvo go, I'm fining with re-signing Bergeron. There needs to be a defenseman with half-decent powerplay skills on the team and I don't think we should be counting on a 20-year old Murphy to be that player.Bringing back Bergeron should really shore up our defense. That's probably the only defensive move we need to make.
If LaRose, Corvo, and McBain all end up gone, then someone needs to be whipping boy.

What no play for the "elite" D Marc Staal? Rangers fans, just too funny.Gotta think they would be looking at Komisarek. Leopold, Murray, Scuderi, Ference, at least there are options. Tyson Strachan would be nice on the 3rd pair with Harrison.
Last two times I remember guys not showing up for exit interviews or meetings: Tanabe and Lavi. Both cut loose shortly thereafter.

Think more along the lines of Vandermeer, SOB, or Alberts.
Yep, the bargain bin of D's.Oh good, 3 more Jay Harrison's.
Sounds like a guy who was informed he wasn't coming back already.
Speaking of Marc, he may play in the first round series. Will be interesting to see how rusty he is, if at all.
