I can see the Canucks and Flames coming together AGAIN to get something done. Probably something like:

To Vancouver: Tanev, 2024 3rd

To Calgary: Klimovich, Jurmo, Mikheyev, 2025 4th, 2026 6th

Brutal. Why are the rebuilding Flames giving up the two best pieces for a pile of mostly rubbish? Like, there's no realistic scenario where the Flames are giving up the best pick while selling off their UFA's. That's just silly.

A prospective Tanev trade is simple: 2nd + 3rd/B prospect give or take depending on market conditions.

This version of the 34-year old Tanev is far cry from the guy who partnered with Quinn Hughes a few seasons ago in Vancouver. Injuries and Father Time have taken a toll.
