Mackinnon- 1C
Kerfoot-3C
Soderberg-3C
Jost(?)- 3C
Hard to image that 4 years ago the Avs had four top 6 centers.

Johansen (1C/A)
Turris (1C/B)
Bonino (3C)
Sissons (4C)

Honestly, Turris looks better than Johansen, so you can swap those two around and it's still "well-slotted."

Zibanejad (low end 1C / high end 2C)
Hayes (3C)
Miller (2RW really, I guess 2/3C)
Nieves (solid 4C)

Rangers don’t stack up very well at C this year. Zbad is proving himself a solid 1C but it’s been a small sample so far. Hayes has been good so far too but I still don’t love him as 2C.

Future looks better thankfully, Chytil looks great and Andersson has been picking it up nicely.

Oilers have enviable talent there, but I totally agree that we are too undeveloped to be considered top tier. Even as great as McDavid is, he still has room to develop as a center. And of course Drai is inconsistent thus far.

Leafs NHL depth is fine for this season, however I worry about next year and forward because we dont really have anyone who can fill the 3 slot when Bozak leaves. Assuming Nylander stays at wing of course

The Rangers are fine at center. There's no way on God's blue earth Kevin Hayes is a third liner, and he's been taking our hardest usage for a year and a half now. Chytil should be on the team and he would be a great 3C right now.

The "Rangers need a center" meme has been around since Messier retired, but we probably need everything but a center.

We just unloaded our first line center this past off-season because we didn't need him.

Just dandy!

Scheifele - Star 1C
Little - Low end 1C High End 2C
Lowry - Molding into a quality bang and grind 3C
Hendricks - Working well so far.

We all await the day (in the near future) that that this looks something like

Scheifele
Little
Roslovic (AHL GP 29 G 14 A 16 PTS 30, 3rd in league scoring in second pro season)
Lowry

Kinda meh, but Larkin looks like he could be a 1C someday at least. He's blown everyone's expectations away so far.

If we consider Hertl a centre (he should be long term):

Couture
Thornton
Hertl
Tierney

Pretty damn good. One of the better in the league. Could even add Pavelski to the list if you want.

Getz
Kesler
Henrique
Vermette

Id put us well slotted, right now due to injuries probaly below

Based on the OP's different labels, I'd say the Ducks are even above slot. Henrique isn't your typical 3rd line center. He can hold his own even in a 2nd line role. Kesler was a Selke finalist last year and Getzlaf is one of the best centers in the game. Add to all this that Derek Grant has been playing well. The center position, along with goaltending, is the Ducks strongest suit. Very few teams can match this center depth.

Montreal's is hilarious but for the oilers Hopkins has had the second line minutes this year

Matthews
Kadri
Bozak
Moore

Probably top 10 league wide. Not many teams can boast a 30 goal scorer as their second line C. Bozak is a decent passenger for talented wingers and is excellent on faceoffs. Could do a lot worse than Moore as a 4C, though he's only a stopgap. Marleau and Nylander are the backups when a C goes down (like Matthews right now).

If only Bozak wasn't having a dud season. He was better than he was ever given credit for in the past, including last year, but he's been mostly invisible this year and hasn't been winning faceoffs as well.

I like our depth at centre, though, especially with Gauthier in waiting. I guess there's also Ben Smith, but hopefully he won't play another game for the Leafs.

The "Rangers need a center" meme has been around since Messier retired, but we probably need everything but a center.

Hayes is a fine 2C right now, but ideally I'd like someone else around his skill level but more aggressive on offense playing 3C to his 2C or 2C to his 3C. I'd like him to center a line that gets tough matchups and focuses on shutdown play since he has the offensive skills to score but tends to hold on to the puck forever, often fruitlessly.

And Chytil should be on the team, but isn't, so we've got Miller at C which isn't preferable. NYR need a center as in they need one on the NHL roster today, not as in they need another center in the system. Chytil making the team next year should round things out very nicely down the middle.

Of course, then we need wingers so, so badly.

Nate is great.
JTC is good but not #2 yet.
Soderberg is a good #3
Kerfoot is a rookie with 21 points in 33 games, so he's pretty damn good for a 4th line center.

Avs are well covered.

Bjugstad is also on the depth. (he should be playing center IMO, but right now he's playing wing)
Malgin is more depth.

I'll say pretty well slotted. Our team has many problems, but center depth is not one of them.
