Duchene (Good 1C)
Brassard (Good 2C)
Pageau (Elite 3C)
Thompson (Good 4C)

I'd say sens are pretty well-slotted at centre, probable on of the strengths of the team once this slump has been somewhat broken.
Not sure I'd consider Duchene a 1C it's been a few years since he has put up those kind of numbers but maybe he proves me wrong. I see him and Brassard as both good 2C's, Pageau is a good 3C and Thompson is a good 4.

You guys better be treating him well

Was some rough treatment for awhile (myself included) but he's been a servicable 4th liner with Perreault on his line. I'd say the majority no longer despise the signing haha.

Can't measure dem intangibles though.
Jets are one of the worst at faceoffs.
Hendricks joins the team.
Jets are one of the best at faceoffs.

I know it's not as simple as that, but I choose to believe he's the reason we improved so much. :D

Even when healthy, i'd say the Canucks are below slot right now.

Horvat - rounding into a low-end #1C. Not disastrously below slot, but hardly a prototype first line center.

but after that it's kind of an incoherent mess of below 2nd line calibre players trying to fill out the depth chart by committee. A whole stable of guys, all of which are out of their depth as a 2nd line C.

Brandon Sutter - a 3rd line C often playing 2nd/borderline 1st line volume minutes.
Henrik Sedin - washed up, playing at a bottom-6 sort of level, but doesn't play a style well suited to 3rd/4th line role.
Gagner/Granlund - top-9ish calibre utility guys who are generally playing over the head.
Burmistrov - fringe/depth player.
Nic Dowd - fringe/depth player.

So the Canucks are sort of hogging a bunch of low-end Center depth i guess, but as a total package...pretty clearly "below slot" down the middle with a bunch of less than #2C calibre guys trying to pick up the slack.

Chicago is the same it's been since 2009, with the one glorious exception of 2015:

1) Toews
2) Cross your heart and pray

Good work! however i'm sure the consensus is that Kopitar is a high end 1C and Carter is between a borderline 1C and very high-end 2C, which kind of makes LA above slot

Habs don’t believe in the center position. Kinda like Santa Clause, they’ve heard of a center, but never seen a center.

This may be surprising but the Sabres are actually pretty set at center.

I'll say well-set

Eichel
O'Reilly
Reinhart/Girgensons
Josefson/Larsson.

Especially wen Casey Mittlestadt bumps Reinhart out of that spot and then eventually joins the top six in some fashion. Sabres will have to make some decisions when you consider Casey is gonna be a top six player and ROR and Eichel are both signed long-term.
