To me there are steps to this. Next year is probably going to be REALLY bad. There are going to be a lot of guys that are plugged into spots just to fill them. Hopefully we see some good progress out of guys like Rielly, Holland, Panik, Carrick. The year after that, maybe we have a season like Florida had this year. Young players really start to show potential, flashes of having a playoff team, probably ultimately fall short. The 2017-18 season, I expect to be a playoff teams and go from there. That would be the ultimate blueprint for me. Of course a lot of this depends on what type of returns we get on key players like Dion, Kessel, Bozak. I certainly think the right management team is in place to build something here. There is also the possibility that with the cap not going up as much as people thought, we might be able to steal a pretty good player or two for a good price, IE what the Islanders did this year with Leddy and Boychuck.
