Yes. The Swedes wantedBurakowsky whom the Caps had sent down to the AHL. TheCaps refused to release him which miffed the Swedes greatly.

Burakovsky was with the Caps but was scratched for most games, including the winter classic.

Nylander would obviously play with Sweden if he's released. Timashov should also pretty easily make the team but you never know with Grönborg. There are probably ~25 forwards and ~20 defencemen with a decent chance of making the team. Lots of players will be returning, whether they deserve to or not. The remaining spots are just impossible to project at this point. Engvall & Lindgren could make the team but they are going to have to play really well next fall.

Actually, Burakovsky was sent down to the AHL for a stint of what turned out to be 13 games. You can check that out on hockeydb.com or other sites. It was a little before the WJC which was what made the Swedes so angry, that they obviously did not need him in Washington at the time but still wouldn't release him to the juniors.
