I don’t think so tbh. 50 goals is really tough and I doubt the Leafs get off to such a juggernaut offensive start as last year. Healthy he definitely breaks 40 imo. Ovechkin scored 49 and 51 the last two years when healthy and he’s the best in the league. It’s just not as easy as people think in today’s game.

Agreed. I believe though it’s harder to keep that pace up for a full season which is what makes Ovi the greatest.

I think he has a 50 goal season in him. This year he should, in theory, have a full season of stable line mates. I think this could be his big year.
