Speculation: How Important is Having a GM for the Draft?

From what I have heard, Dubas barely handles any analytics at all. That's just what gets told to the public.

I'm waiting for this post to get shut down though.

Dubas is pretty big into IPP

He doesn't do the analytics stuff on his own. Dubas is the type of agm to value the analytic into future hockey deals

I would like to have a GM in place by the draft, not so much for the actual drafting, more for the trades that I would like to see happen.
