Skinner-Dahlin-OlofssonCould Dahlin/Eichel get 30 PP assists setting up GoalOffson lol
Eichel-Ristolainen
Dahlin played center when he was younger and has the highest IQ on the team IMO. He uses his vision and hands to dish it out to two sniper scoring options with Skinner and Olofsson, who won't miss up close. If he struggles with faceoffs, let Skinner take them like he did for Eichel. Put Skinner and Olofsson on opposite sides close to the net and just wait for the perfect play. Dahlin with the creativity would be the perfect center for this.
When the Sabres had the best PP they had Eichel-Ristolainen on the point, they have tremendous chemistry and wouldn't want to break it up, this set up allows Dahlin to be used on the 1st unit with them. This also has the effect of increasing Risto's trade value.
Reinhart-Mittelstadt-Vesey
Thompson-Miller
Reinhart drives the play with his hockey IQ and vision while Mittelstadt uses his hands and creativity to create space. Vesey goes in front of the night for dirty goals while Thompson looks for a perfect low slapper for tip-ins as Miller cycles the puck.
When tip-ins are more a goal use Reinhart in front of the net more interchangeably and Vesey cycles the puck.
