i have to agree this matchup voting isn't working. i really liked the idea but it's obvious not enough people are voting/voting seriously.

toronto 3rd round pick 2012

Shane O'Brien

confirm. shane is a good 6/7th dman and i could care less about mid-late draft picks.

leafs are still looking for a top dman. prospects, picks, aulie, franson, komisarek are all on the table.

On Monday GM HockeyRulez made it clear, he had do add more pieces to get to the goal which is the Stanley Cup. He did just that completing 2 deals to beef up his team. He first sent underachieving d-man Matt Niskanen and a 3rd rd pick to Buffalo for Andrej Sekera. Then later in the day he sent d-man Kris Letang and forwards Tyler Kennedy and Steve Sullivan to the Big Apple for superstar Marian Gaborik and Kyle Clifford.

I'm not trying to "openly cry" to people, I'm just stating that people should vote on who has the better team right now, not for the future, and not depending on what trades their GM has made.
