recently, american sports like basketball and football have players from those sports making a political/social statement on the recent issue of unarmed african americans getting killed by trigger happy policemen...
a cleveland brown player wore a shirt protesting about a 12 year old kid was killed by the police whom thought he had a real gun which turned out to be a toy gun..
lebron james made a political/social statement of wearing a shirt with the quote "i can't breathe" where an unarmed black man died by an illegal choke hold over some illegal cigarettes....
