It's not even that Turcotte is a bad prospect, so many others just stepped up more. Looking at his draft class alone, Zegras, Seider, Caufield, Boldy, Newhook, and Krebs all developed more/faster.

Some of the SHL watchers here aren't that enamored with him. It sounds like he might be more of an offensive specialist rather than an all-around guy that can lead a D-corps.
