Like I'm in no way trying to be facetious or anything, but how is Mark Stone better than Mitch Marner? Without sounding antagonizing, I'm just genuinely curious as to what others think.

Stone's underlying stats are very very good. He probabaly should've won the selke last year as well, even as a winger

Just guessing based on comments on both players from all fan bases here over past few years, but Stone has similar production on a much worse team, and is way better defensively.

Common opinion is that he’s primarily denied chance at Selke because he’s a winger.

Kessel is the forward version of Ristolainen

I think that's going a little far.

Kessel consistently posts excellent scoring rates both at 5-on-5 and on the PP. He's flawed, and he got voted way too high in this poll, but he's still a positive impact player.

Ristolainen just sucks.

He's unarguably the best defensive winger and has been for some time now.

Mark stones not going to win a selke. Wingers just dont get it for some reason. Same went for Hossa, who probably couldve won a couple but never got one.
