Pittsburgh messing around w/ old school Featherlites. Pretty cool. They weight nearly twice as much as modern composite sticks.

Stickhandling with those will be a good forearm and wrist workout.

@Confucius - It was made clear that Sportsbook would reset after the Super Bowl - The current game tournament will go to the end of the NHL regular season

C'mon man! Maybe if you are using a steel puck, or the old CCM's with a nail through the end. No one i ever knew thought that wooden sticks were too heavy. I used one in practice long after composites were available. I am old, and they never gave my wrists or forearms a workout.

I don't know why they would use wooden sticks to work on puck control, unless they plan on using them in games. As soon as you go back to composite, you'll have to readjust, and all your long shots that were knee high in practice will be neck high.

I was playing around with one the other day. Definitely gave my forearms a burn. And shooting was hard, I couldn't just snap my wrists, i had to really put my core/body behind it. But then again, I'm used to using a 65-70 flex.
