Remember they called the play dead because the net came off. That picture given may be from after the net started coming off and they had already blown it dead.

The net does look dislodged in that picture.

It's before AND the Buffalo player shoved the net off its moorings and then the puck was pushed even deeper into the net. Unless there was a rule change, the intentional dislodging of the net makes it a goal anyways.

Didn't even have his stick on the ice to give Hutton a pass. Does nothing to either engage Kuznetsov or block the pass to Wilson. That was awful defense.

Hutton passed it to Kuz otherwise if he engages him that's clear interference you don't expect your goalie to pass it to the other team.
