Marchand with 5 pts tonight, he stays on the puck and never gives up. Pastrnak 29 pts, Marchand 28 pts. (in 14 games) Top 2 players for points, for now because Edmonton is playing tonight.

Sid and Guentzel both minus 4 tonight
Marchand plus 4 , Bergeron plus 3

Halak was great as was Carlo, Pens looked dangerous all night, they deserved better.

Bruins gave up 3 breakaway goals, Pens have speed

Those were some golden opportunities they gave the Bruins as well. The Pens had some great stretches but they far from owned that game. I never felt like the Pens were close to a sure win through the game.

Nobody denies they’re very offensively gifted but there’s more to hockey than that.
I disagree that short side wristers from 65 feet out are “golden opportunities.”

Pens were the better team for most of the game a couple bounces early and Pens cam back strong. Bruins are a one line team and tough to make that work in a long season.

And were outshot 20-8 (outscored 4-1) in the middle frame.

The Pens played well but when you're up 3-0 after one you kinda let your foot off the gas in the second. Bruins woke up in the 3rd when The Pens had made it a game and took it away.

there was some of that, especially with Bruins knowing they are playing their third in four tomorrow night. But the pens were great.

No, the Pens outplayed them (by a wide margin) in that period, and the Bruins were in "survival mode." Jack's words. Not mine.

Anyways, credit to the Bruins for getting the job done.

Don't disagree that the Pens outplayed them for much of the game but when you have a 3-0 lead, most times it's tough to keep your foot on their neck and teams ease up.
When Pitts came back and took the lead there was no panic and The Bruins simply walked away with the win.
Tough to say if Pittsburgh was the better team tonight as when you roll up the score every other team will look good - however, when you blow that kinda lead and fall behind and then just clinically win - that's something to be proud/impressed of this team for.

Draisaitl has had dudes using him as a jetski the entire game. Hope he gets one in OT.
