I don’t understand the Preds being so good against TB the way they’ve been the last few years. Even when they’re bad like they were 3 weeks ago they still beat them.

Wow, great game between the Preds and Bolts. Far and away the two best teams. That push from Tampa in the 3rd was hockey at its finest.

Embarassing performance by the refs in the Leafs v BJs game, they called a dozen offsides but not a single penalty despite a ridiculous amount of obstruction (most of it by Columbus in fairness and the Leafs still won but still, call a f***ing penalty).

Finally showing real Canucks now.. injuries finally catching up to them. U can’t win when u lose 2 of ur best defensive center and 2 of your best forwards..

Patrick Laine had better keep up his current production, or there will be HF threads proclaiming his demise as an NHL player....

Or do those just pop up in October annually....

Such an average game for Laine yet still gets a hattrick.

First one was a gift. Then the Canucks were caught on a long shift for the 2nd. But both times it only took a small opening for Laine to snipe. Exceptional shot, just goal scorers goals. Then the EN at end but good for Laine. That's what great players do, produce even when they aren't having an A+ game.

The Pacific division is absolutely hilarious. 6 losses and a -15 and we're still in a playoff spot? This is madness.

what numbers are you basing this on?

Personnel. No vezina caliber goalie, no disrespect to Freddie Anderson, and no where near the depth on D that Nashville or Tampa boasts. Top end D talent as well.

Morgan is a point machine, but cannot shutdown opponents like Hedman or Josi.
