Staal and Rask v. the return of Nino and Haula!

Vic is gonna kick some ass- or at least pat some butt! The town that wears long underwear against the town that wears no underwear!

Riveting stuff.

Poor Jackets fans! Coincidence or not?! :D

Saturday, Nov. 16 will mark the first of two 15-game days this season, with the second taking place on Saturday, April 4, 2020. The Blue Jackets are idle both days. (!!!)

Jeff Carter will be playing in his 1000th game today. It's too bad that Mike Richards threw his career away or else he might be celebrating it with him.

Steve Simmons and Cam Cole have been making asses of themselves on Twitter because Jerry York wasn't at the pregame HHOF ceremony last night.

The font combinations on the Canes jerseys are annoying. They have these small-looking curved characters for the numbers and nameplate, then these giant cornered letters on the front. And was it really necessary to put the little hurricane warning symbols inside the ‘C’? What’s that about? They’re pretty fresh otherwise though.

Looking at the 1:00 PM PST starts, I'm looking forward to Stars/Oilers and Flames/Yotes. In another year I would have probably done Kings/Knights as first priorty, but the Kings are awful this year.

I can't get over how boring it is to watch the Wild and it seems to never change. Why is that?

Do the Wild realize the point of the game is to score goals and not just cycle the puck? They’re spending so much energy while generating so little.

I just saw that from 2001 to 2015 they were only in the top half of the league in goals-for once. And that was in 2015 when they were tied for 12th.

Their top-6F/top-4D are good too.

They've always been good defensively, but watching them struggle in the offensive zone is like watching paint dry. Yeah, they can cycle the puck and tire the other guys out, but they just seem content to not do much else. Take a shot here and there from a terrible spot, and whenever they're in a good shooting lane they just shoot right into the goalie's chest. Pretty awful to watch IMO. They don't seem to have any finish.

I'm still trying to figure out exactly how many jerseys the Canes actually have.

Yet Minny fans think it's only Oiler fans that think this way lul

Yes, they are objectively boring. Like look at the dumb shots they take. 2 on 1 right there and he shoot from like a 1 degree angle lol. No attempt to even make a play. Also, try a few more backhand wraparounds, Parise!

EDIT. Finally something Oilers and Flames fans can agree on. Wild hockey is boring!
