Why did Zadorov get the 10 minute misconduct?

For the slash? Wanting to start a fight? Because he plays rough?

Hunt got a 10 minute misconduct too. Not sure exactly what for. Though Zadorov chirping the Panthers bench probably made it an easier call.

What is it with older guys succeeding in Florida. I remember when Jagr had some life left in him at an older age in Florida and now everytime I see Boyle he is making a bit of a difference. I know Time Conquers all, but it seems like it moves slower in Florida.

More like Z took an idiotic, hot headed penalty which Florida scored 10 seconds into, giving them an immediate way back into a game they Avs have comfortably under control. Great hit by Z, utterly braindead afterwards.

you age faster under more pressure, less pressure in FLA lets you just play your own game and not be singled out every night if you're slumping, like in other markets.

From an Avalanche perspective, I am not a fan of Zadorov. He’s one of those big, strong, physical defensemen who aren’t actually all that good at hockey, and as we saw tonight, he’s got a knack for taking stupid penalties.
