Habs/Leafs game was great. Very good pace, surprisingly engaging for a season opener.

Habs look a lot faster this year. They were busting their asses, too. Outworked the Leafs all night. The talent gap is just too big between these teams, though.

Good effort by bottom five team vs the Leafs.....pushed the Leafs to OT and likely deserved the win. Hab fans have some positives here to look forward to.

Price will give the Habs a chance to win every night. Which isn't good for their tank, so depending on how you look at it, not much positive there.

This has had nothing to do with the Bruins playing badly. This is the CAPS looking like they're in another class.

Not sure what game you are watching but the Bruins defense is god awful. They have had major miscues. Also, they just don’t even look like they care at this point. They have given up.

Good on the Caps for coming out strong but Rask and that defense played like dog shit.

Hard to judge either team after that game.

Man, the whole 'Matthews isn't top ten' has really gotten under Leafs fans skin.

I don't really see Nylander helping them with their deficiencies. He's going to make them a better team, but there were some obvious defensive weaknesses in that game.
