Not so sure that should have counted. Doesn't the player need to maintain possession of the puck on their stick until the shot? Or maybe I'm confusing that with the "can't go backwards" thing. I'd need to see the replay again too, but it looked like the puck hit off Crawford's skate or pad and then Versteeg shot it in.

Edit: Didn't hit his skate or pad. Might have nicked his stick though.

Do you have an excuse every time Gaudreau makes a bad play? He gave the puck away along the boards in his own zone instead of dumping it out when the teams were 4-on-4. It was a stupid decision by him.
