He's been everywhere on the ice today. His best play of the game is stripping Provorov from behind, going on a 2 on 1 with Kuznetsov and taking a shot that gave Kuzy a perfect rebound. Ovechkin is the only player for the Caps that is doing something positive every shift today.

What? If anything it was a hit to the back in the numbers. But he didn't jump into anything. This isn't 2009, the Ovechkin jumping into hits discussion has been long dead for a reason.
