Remember when we all agreed that the instigator penalty was terrible and the players should police themselves. Now we're celebrating rat-hockey in a Battle of Alberta instead of brawls. Times have changed.

Rat hockey is Marchand punching the Sedins in the face after a whistle.
Rat hockey is Chara knocking out Tavares with a sucker punch in a scrum.
Rat hockey is not laying out perfectly clean hits and deciding to not fight afterwards. Especially if you sense that you're likely about to receive a power play. It really should have been a major too.

Kassian ends up costing the team, despite that the Oilers weren’t particularly good tonight, Draisaitl with a lot of turnovers.

Talbot made some good saves for Shelbyville too.

He wasn't embarrassed at all.

He's an all-star and Kassian's emotional instability helped his team lose.

It's actually a win/win for Calgary kiddo.

The main boards are so weird considering in rival games it is just the fans teams jeering at one another (despite they have their own threads), then one team bragging while the other is salty once the game is over.

I feel like we have lost the plot with these "neutral" game threads.

Yeah sometimes the Oilers tend to look for the same plays repeatedly and it gets easy to read.

Draisaitl tonight also was guilty of some weak plays that resulted in turnovers.

No arguement from me but despite Kassian gifting them the game they needed some big saves from Talbot to barely hold on.
