Its in the rulebook if you look online, page 151, example 19.

"In the last five minutes of the game
or anytime in overtime, the three
minute differential will be posted on
the penalty clock. Team B will play
short-handed for three minutes and
it will be served in the same
manner as a major penalty"

It was 5on5
Gourde 5 min penalty
Ekholm 2 min penalty

It should have been 4on4 for 2 minutes and then a 3 minute powerplay.
Instead it was a 3 minute powerplay then 4on4 for 2 minutes

Thats not how major penalties work. Edit: guess its only last 5 minutes of the game.
