God I am so conflicted. I am a big fan of XBOX but it's seeming more and more like I'll be getting the new PS instead.

I also tip my hat to those of you who play through games over and over to get all of the accomplishments. I can never do that. I've tried to do that with some games and it just drives me mad.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm finding it harder to be as excited about most new video games these days. I can't quite explain it, but I feel for the most part, the focus of most videogames seems to be more graphics-oriented than gameplay.

That, and given how often I play these days, I can't see myself throwing that kind of money at a new console.

Unless Microsoft brings back 1 Vs. 100.... then it'll be all Shut-up-and-take-my-money.

1v100 was awesome. Hate that they got rid of it.

Looks like I'll be switching to PS4. Since I always buy and resell used, it's a no brainer for me.

I guess most people will go to PS4. Going back to my roots looks like. Can't say I'd be too disappointed with how Microsoft is going about things with the new Xbox One.

Canadian "loses it" at Ball Hockey championships

not sure if this has been posted anywhere, but a former Halifax Moosehead player playing for Canada in the World Ball Hockey Championships in Newfoundland went a little crazy in a losing cause... .... punches out a guy, breaks goalie's nose and injures one of the refs

I have long moved on from Halo. Played it back in it's prime with Halo2 and Halo3. Man, those were the days for online gaming. At least for me. And I was dam good at Halo3 too. Remember getting matched up against a few pros. Wrecked me.

Saw that the other day. What a joke and a disgrace of a person. Ends up hurting the goalie who wasn't even the one who instigated it. That guy should be taken out back and beatin senselessly and see how it feels.

I did that for 3 different games. On PSN you get the platinum trophy if you do all the achievements/trophies. Did it for Heavy Rain, ACII, and Uncharted 2. Lots of time and YT video watching.

I actually don't do it for a lot of games either. Only the ones I really lke and those tend to be RPGs.

Dragon Age 1 and 2
Skyrim
All four Uncharted games
AC2
Borderlands 1 and 2
A few others I can't remember.

What usually holds me up are MP acheivements. I generally don't enjoy the multiplayer portion of games very much.
Also if I'm cleaning up a game's trophy list and realize I'm not actually having fun with the game anymore I immediately quit playing it.

Side Note: I've had Heavy Rain sitting on my shelf for years but just can't get interested in it. The gameplay bores the **** out of me.

IMO yes most def! the atmosphere is fantastic! the menu great and drink specials were good as well.

Went on Saturday before the UFC for the first time. The wings were good, decent selection of beer, patron citron shots were 4 for $15 and the waitresses were just.................................................................................... plus they have blackjack there.........who would of thunk it

Probably. I'm more excited about catching a few NFL Sundays there, they've got the best TV layout of any sports bar I've been to in Winnipeg. Great place for watching multiple games.

I really need to start saving money (and calories) by just avoiding those places.

Definitely an over the top move. Was probably looking for an excuse to snap. What confuses me is where were the Czech guy's teammates? 1.3 secs left, their guy gets jumped before the faceoff and they all just chill at center and watch?

I might buy the PS4 as my brother is taking the PS3 with him when he moves out. I'm disappointed at no backwards compatibility and minimal 4k support, but that's nothing compared to the Xbox One's problems

I am disappointed that Gamestop (The American Branding for EB Games) has to throw in NBA Live 14 into the Madden and Fifa bundle. I would have preferred to buy 2k14 but I don't plan on buying both.

Yes TNSE are involved in the Shark Club venture. The project was the idea of the head of lotteries Manitoba who wanted to build an intimate casino and attach it to a the Shark club concept which he felt would be a great fit. his vision was to outsource the food and beverage since 95% of their headaches come from that part of the business. he also felt the tables and sports bar would feed off each other and the profile of the service in the casino could match more of a Vegas vibe if they partnered with the correct operators. he wanted a separately branded feel which I believe they archived. TNSE were involved from the get go based on their deal with lotteries and as part of the SHED push. They also had to do a sell job to get the owners of Shark club to attach their brand to a casino in City place mall but Mark has a strong relationship with the franchisor (Dallas stars owner) and the franchisee (who is a tenant in another TNSE venture). like the NHL on a much MUCH smaller scale when TNSE set their sites on something they can be persistent.

Ok, this blows my ****ing mind. CD Projekt RED is developing the new Witcher game for PC Windows and the Xbone. It's developing a game for the Xbone. That needed re-emphasis. The Xbone isn't being released in Poland. CD Projekt RED is based in Poland. CD Projekt RED is developing a game for a SYSTEM that isn't even being released in their native country.
