2nd straight win for Llama coming up
CAROLINA THOUGHTS:

L1: very solid, very nice compliments on this line, well done, not LOVING Drouin as a 1st liner, but definitely like the fit. A
L2:
I don't really like Donskoi on this line at all and Oshie/Staal is just meh for me without a better offensive player than Donskoi, the 2 big guys are fine, but I really don't love it. B-
L3:
Very sick, Josh Leivo > as a LW tho. I like it a lot otherwise, B+
L4:
missing a player but so far I really like it, I'd play Turcotte on the dot tho. An incomplete B+

D1: A+
, thats all I have to say
D2: ehhhhh on Demers with Nurse but better than Schultz and probably mostly fine, B+
D3:
cool, slow but sure why not its D3, B+ because I dont like Oesterle

G: A-, Raantas solid but injury prone, but definitely good enough and Ullmark is a nice safety net

Overall, I'm curious how Foegele/Donskoi switched would look.

ANAHEIM THOUGHTS:
L1:
I love this line, A again bc Kahun isn't a first liner but with Drai I like it
L2: I reallyyyy like this L2, A+
L3:
Could have better wingers but solid, B+
L4:
too incomplete

D1: Really like it, personally I'd flip Spurgeon and Carlo for a more balanced approach, A as is tho
D2: good 2nd pair, I'm high on Carlo, I'm low on Murray, B+
D3:
Juolevi/Benning I hate C+

G: A
, Kuemper is good

Overall good but depth looks weird

do an opponent/matchup draft like we did before. That’s all I would do. The only reason you’d allow 2/3/4 is to help people who don’t pay attention to cap. Also we should do no trades.

Also give someone else access to the board so you aren’t doing it alone.
I don't love that tbh, I'd rather have it preset and you just pick team

3/4 was actually the opposite, and instead intended to be like OH MAN I GOT SNIPED I NEED A C, and then you steal someones C bc you thought you'd get away with it, 2 is for cap reasons

I love trades

Switching Donskoi and Foegele is definitely interesting. (BTW we're assuming full health, right? In that case Raanta's injury history isn't an issue). I just realized that Martinook plays more on the wing, so I'll definitely putt Turcotte at C.

I'd consider swapping Spurgeon and Carlo, but I think that might take away votes. Benning's a solid player though, Juolevi not so much though lol. But Benning has managed to be a + player every single year despite being on a meh Oilers team. (+32 career)

I liked the opponent draft because it added a little more variety. Don’t really care either way about that but shouldn’t do end of season voting.

I really don’t like the idea of stealing players. It’s pointless.

Trades cause too much shit and as seen especially in the last day are very hard to keep up on.

@hockeynorth switching Foegele and Donskoi definitely looks better. It also allows Leivo to play his natural left side. I should be able to draft one of two Hurricanes wingers to go with Martinook and Turcotte (who I put at C btw), that should work well.
Jonathan Drouin (5.500) - Mark Scheifele (6.125) - Brock Boeser (5.875)

Zach Sanford - Sebastian Aho - Mikko Rantanen
Jonathan Marchesseault - Ryan Getzlaf - Zach Hyman
Nikita Gusev - Nolan Patrick - Ryan Hartman
Brendan Lemieux - Jason Spezza - Troy Terry

Jake Muzzin - John Klingberg
Alexander Edler - Tyler Myers
Bowen Byram - Justin Braun

Corey Crawford

This team is intended to be a rolling attack, with a grinder on every line along with a couple skill guys. Definitely can play a heavy game too though with some warriors both up front and on the back end, and some serious playoff/cup experience.

L1: Aho/Rantanen do magic, Sanford plays cleanup and mucks it up in the dirty areas. My two heavier guys create space for Aho to win his MVP award.
L2: Marchesseault makes lots of small skill plays to Getzlaf while Hyman does Hyman things and quietly pots 20 goals.
L3: Gusev provides a tough to contain threat deep in the lineup along with a healthy Patrick. Hartman takes on the PF role and plays a heavy game to keep people off Patrick.
L4: Lemieux mucks it up, Spezza teaches Terry how to play the game the right way. This line produces along a 30pt (more for Terry who gets PP time) stat line all while being chippy.

D1: Muzzin plays stay at home, Klingberg the rover role.
D2: They do exactly what they do IRL
D3: Byram learns from Braun, and puts up big numbers on the PP, moving up the pairings through the season. Braun defends well for us and plays PK.

Crawford is still a warrior who has a very nice stat line

This is MUCH better IMO, it looks cleaner on paper for sure. I'd try the D switch.

Thats essentially what I'm proposing.

Adds a layer, depends what people want, I keep thinking it'd be interesting to watch unfold.

I like trades, I just get busy. We didn't really have any BS this time thanks to the restricted trade rules. It was a pretty clean game and I'm very grateful for that.

We're using cap hits as of October 23rd.

Strome is 3.1m and Mantha is 3.3m, so you're 3.8m less than you have there.
